Remarkable Site of Taste in the bay of Mont Saint-Michel Cancale is a French commune located in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine, in the Brittany region.
 
 The Oysters of Cancale 
 With its many activities focused on the sea, the port lives to the rhythm of the tides. It developed in a natural shelter site and was structured with the construction of two dykes that delimit the current port.
 
 Today, it is oyster farming and tourism that animate the quays of the Houle with the comings and goings of sea gardeners on the oyster beds that appear at low tide.
 
 Another pride and emblem of the city, the traditional  bisquine , the "   Cancalaise  », Replica of the old traditional fishing boats of the bay, parade in the nautical gatherings while waiting to embark amateurs of old rigging.
