Virgin Island  is an islet in northern Finistère located in the seaside resort of  Plouguerneau.
 It is characterized by its wild look and its lighthouse.
 
 Built from 1897 to 1902, with a height of 82.5 m, it is the tallest lighthouse in Europe  and the tallest freestone lighthouse in the world . It sweeps across the north of Finistère for a distance of 52 km.
